Waves against pier: some of them looks like smashing on it, instead of flow by side. Interesting parallel between the spaced waves and the vertical pier supports, both with apparent repeated texture.

Walking around the base of the castle of Les Baux de Provence (southern France)I saw this nice texture effect of the water flowing in the centuries on the vertical rocks, and I couldn’t resist to take a shoot. Despite to the apparencies, it’s not an HDR image.

I was wandering in Haute Provence – South of France, when I found this beautiful mountain. It remebered me the famous “El Capitan” rock in Yosemite National Park (this one is smaller, anyway) and the Ansel Adams images, so I stopped and found a good location where take this shoot, of course in black and white like the Master. This is a tribute to him and his art.

Late evening, exiting as last visitors of the Infini. To Astronomical Park, I discovered this contrast between the Eremo technological antenna towers and the Alps behind them in their dusk colors. I just played a little bit with the colors to get a more realistic contrast feeling between the clouds (still in the sun) and the ground (already in the dark). I think that the contrast between the “vertical modern” and the “horizontal natural” subjects is an interesting comparison.
